The Sandals Montego Bay Resort is set on the longest white sand beach in Northern Jamaica, and surrounded by twenty-six acres of tropical foliage. This couples-only hotel was the first of the Sandals resorts, and has become a favorite all-inclusive for honeymooners. The resort boasts a full roster of activities, as well as the BayRoc Estate Beachfront villa suites-a resort within a resort - for guests who want more a more upscale experience.

The décor of Sandals Montego Bay reflects Jamaica's colonial heritage. Guests have more than 15 types of rooms to choose from, many of which have ocean-view patios or balconies; all have four-poster beds and traditional muted décor in sage, peach and ochre. The BayRoc Estate Beachfront villa suites have more amenities, with separate living rooms, classic mahogany furniture, antiques, hand-crafted armoires and original artwork. Each suite in this category comes with a private butler and concierge.

Jamaican cuisine is on the menu at the Oleander room, and the beachside OK Corral serves casual fare under a thatched roof. Open-air dining options include international cuisine at Bayside, Tokyo Joe's customized Japanese stirfries, and pizzas and pastas from Cucina Romana's show kitchen. A British pub menu is on tap at the Cricketer's Pint.

Guests at Sandals Montego Bay can swim at any one of the four large pools, or relax on the long private beach. Beach volleyball, day and night tennis, jogging trails, hydrobikes, waterskiing, scuba diving and snorkeling round out the resort's activities. In the evenings an indoor stage is the platform for cabaret, fire dancers, DJ dance music or karaoke. The open-air fitness center also has a sauna and facilities for yoga, aerobics and Pilates. The Red Lane Spa, set in an orchid garden, has a full menu of massages, wraps and scrubs, plus three couples' treatment rooms where massages are given by candlelight.
